Embellishments are a great deal for scrapbooking supplies. Many people rely on embellishments to beautify their scrapbooks because then, it’d be as simple as cutting and sticking onto and voila! You have a pretty scrapbook. What are embellishments though? Embellishments are the ornaments that are added onto the scrapbook for a more highlighted and emphasized statement of the memory. Embellishments can be bought with scrapbooking kits and is essential as a supply.
Ribbons
Although it may be considered as a girly-girl kind of material, ribbons are actually very useful for scrapbooks. Most scrapbooking experts have ribbons in their basic scrapbooking supplies. This is probably because ribbons are cheap, available in various lengths and widths and has a wide variety of its kinds and types and colors. Ribbons can be used as page borders, outlines, decorations on each picture and as a ribbon decoration itself. Some people also use ribbons as an opener for their scrapbooks.
Stickers
Another embellishment commonly used is the stickers. Stickers are common scrapbooking supplies because of it is easy to use and can be found just about anywhere. For those who can’t find a sticker of their likes, there are sticker papers available where you can print the image you desire and have them on your scrapbooks in no time. Stickers can be used as adhesives for photos and remembrance souvenirs or as decorations on outlines, empty patches and to highlight important quotes and information. As a small tip, stickers can also be used as a simple cover for minor erasures on your scrapbook.
Brads, beads and buttons
The triple “B”, brads, beads and buttons are very useful when decorating a scrapbook. Brads are usually made especially for scrapbooking purposes and you can find any object for just about any theme. Beads and buttons on the other hand, are very cheap, comes in many sizes and shapes and can be strung together to form unique borders and outline designs.
